Here at Fully Sussed, we don't beleive in secret training, we like to share our training ideas. We have a lot of emails from riders wanting to get faster, looking for training tips, so we thought we'd put some structured plans up for you to pick and choose from.
Endurance training
We are both going to be competing in 12 hours of Exposure in 2012 (Jay as the defending European and UK 12hr vet champ, and Maddie, still not really sure whether 12 hours might be about 10 too many in the saddle!)

Cross country training plans:
Pick + Mix plan
This is a guide to the sort of sessions that make up a balanced week, and some examples of those sessions. If you have done some structured training, and want to have a go at creating your own plan, this should help you make a start.
Advanced plan
This plan took us up to round 1 of the British Mountain Bike Series in 2011, and resulted in some pretty good performances through the race season, including a silver medal for Maddie in the Elite Series overall. This training is not for the fainthearted!
Elite Velo plans
These were kindly put together for us by Elite Velo, when we asked for some basic and intermediate training to get riders shape for the 2011 Soggy Bottom Series. www.elitevelo.com
The all new Specialized Fate is the smallest and lightest 29er on the planet, and will be available to demo at all Fully Sussed events and courses from March 2012.
