About the race
With just the one dose of Stinger pain this Winter, we've gone with the traditional format:
5km trail run (one lap) / 20km mountain bike (4 laps) / 3km stinger run (1 lap)
0900 Registration + catering open
0930 mtb course open for practice
1100 The Stinger race starts
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3:
Solos (male and female)
Vet solos (male and female)
Relay pairs (male, female and mixed)
Event facilities include
You can do the stinger in normal trainers, but we wouldn't recommend it! Off road trainers are better if you have them.
You can do the Stinger on a cyclocross bike, but we wouldn't recommend it! A mountain bike is the most suitable bike for the job.
