Haldon update: (Thurs 19th August)
Number board amnesty - please bring any number boards you have at home with you on Thursday - we are running low and know some of you have been collecting them!
Location: Haldon Forest EX6 7XR (nr Exeter).  Follow the brown tourist signs to Haldon Forest from the A38.
Fancy dress: No we're not joking!  We are so pleased with the sucess of the series that we wanted to celebrate by doing something silly for the last round.
Fancy dress rules -
Full Fancy dress = 20 second headstart
Comedy helmet decorations = 10 second headstart
Race kit = start at the back
The chief commissaire has the final say - there will be no sneaking through with half hearted costume attempts.
Sponsors:  This event is supported by The Bike Shed - Exeter.
Series standings:  Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each category.  We are looking at 4/5 races to count.  We will aim to award these as soon as both races have finished - it will take a little time to calculate, so please be patient.

Our Ethos
We love riding our bikes and want to get as many other people to share our passion as possible. We are organising a South West race series because people have been asking for one. The mountain biking scene in the South West is thriving at the moment and we want to help it to grow, and invest in the future of cycling. The South West race series is being developed as a non profit making enterprise. Any money that is made will be invested back into the sport locally, perhaps in the form of support for young riders.

Prizes:
Sunday series: There will be spot prizes plus trophies for the top 3 in each category.
Evening series:  Overall series trophies only.
